A lifelong animal lover and hands-on DIY enthusiast, Jesse founded H.A.F.S. to give farm animals a second chance at life. Beyond rescue and advocacy, he is the heart of the sanctuary’s operations-designing and building shelters, managing projects, and ensuring the land remains a safe haven for its residents. With a passion for homesteading and self-sufficiency, Jesse is dedicated to educating others on ethical treatment and sustainable living.
As a Clinical Herbalist and Nutrition Specialist, Nicole has always been passionate about the connection between plant-based living, animal welfare and environmental sustainability. She oversees daily operations, ensures the well-being of the animals, and uses social media to share the mission of Heart Acres Farm Sanctuary, inspiring others to embrace a healthier, more compassionate lifestyle.
