Heart Acres Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in south central Iowa, dedicated to offering a safe refuge for farm animals that have been neglected, abandoned, surrendered or abused.
Our Mission
At H.A.F.S, our mission is to provide a safe and loving home for rescued farm animals while advocating for compassion, education, and ethical treatment of all living beings. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and community outreach, we strive to inspire change and promote a more compassionate world for animals and humans alike. We also educate our community on the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle, encouraging choices that protect animals, the planet and our health.
